An oversized Tee!
The Galen T-Shirt quickly became the go-to tee in our personal wardrobes. Designed as a 'can large bodies have a perfectly proportioned oversized tee like small bodies get to buy from stores?' experiment, we love the Galen tucked, un-tucked and half-tucked into the waistband of our skirts and pants!
Shirts, tops and peplums!
Pictured above left to right is a Torrens Box Top (and Breve Bag), a Newry Top and two Waikerie 1 Shirts. We like to plan for any of our new patterns to work well with existing patterns, because we know that you simply can't assume that folks in our size range have access to clothing options that aren't DIY!
The waistband of the Droma hits at a great height for our relatively-cropped Waikerie 1 and Torrens Box Top but you could also pair it with a Nullarbor Cami for a very summery two-piece!
Big on Top, Big on Bottom
You might have spotted that we do not adhere to the old rules about wearing something smaller on the bottom if you've got something oversized on top and vice versa. We kind of lumped that 'assumed knowledge' into the same box as the old-wives tale that wearing horizontal stripes isn't suitable for large bodies.
Enter, the Lobethal Shirt. It's pretty unapologetic but you can make it even more so by adding two very large gusseted pockets to the front. The Lobethal was quickly become the thing we reach for to make us feel very intentional and extra cool and we love the way it pairs with the Droma (and with Mary Jane shoes too, apparently)!
