Waikerie Shirt and Dress 2 Sewing Pattern PDF

The Waikerie collection [pronounced like bakery] is designed for options! With three separate pattern offerings—Waikerie 1, 2, and 3—each featuring a dress and shirt in varying styles, you can create your own collection of tops and dresses with different finishes.

All Waikerie patterns feature a dropped shoulder, forward yoke seam, and a soft-faced collar that can be buttoned or left open. Dresses have an expansive pocket anchored to the side seam. Both views feature a short sleeve with a unique sleeve band. Both tops and dresses can have short sleeves with a unique sleeve band or long sleeves with a hidden placket and wrist pleat.

Waikerie 2 View A: Designed to end at the low hip, View A has a mitred side split and an inverted box pleat at the back.

Waikerie 2 View B: With a hem ending at mid-calf, View B shares the inverted box pleat, high-low hem, and side split.

 Cup sizes
Where cup sizes have not been stated it's because the pattern is dart-free and has been designed to be 'cup-size flexible'. If you're unsure about what size to use, you can always email your measurements to help@munaandbroad.com for specific sizing advice.

Finished Garment Measurements:

Please select your size based primarily on your bust and hip measurement. Alterations in length can be made using the shorten/lengthen lines.

Fit Expectations: This shirt is designed to have a large amount of design ease. The yoke is designed to sit in front of the top of your shoulder.

Muna and Broad patterns are designed with large bodies in mind and we’ve ensured there’s room for you. Because of this, there’s no need to “size up”.

Suggested Fabric:

This pattern is designed for use with a variety of woven fabrics. Linen, cotton, rayon, silk, tencel, and viscose fabrics such as linen, linen blends, cotton lawn, broderie anglaise/eyelet lace, tencel, cupro, viscose/viscose blends, silk noil, silk charmeuse, rayon, or lightweight crepe would all be appropriate.

As with most garment sewing, we do not recommend the use of quilting cottons.
